Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
ClonifyLab is a service of DecodeIT OÜ (registry code 16593048, Tallinn, Estonia).
In short: use ClonifyLab only for honest videos about yourself or your business, with your own face and voice. No sexual or political content, no other people's faces or voices (except people aged 18 or over who agreed to appear in your own clips), no fake reviews, no promises of income, health or views, and never remove the marks that show a video was made with AI.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and our B2B Service Agreement. It applies to everything you send us (topics, voice notes, recordings, clips, texts) and to every video you make, approve, download or post.
1. Faces and voices
- Clone only yourself, from your own recording on our consent page. Business clients' presenters each record their own consent; a company can never consent for them.
- Never record or clone anyone else for a clone, and never upload anyone else's recording for one: not a colleague, a friend, a customer, an actor, a public figure (politicians, celebrities, influencers, athletes, business leaders), a child, or a person who has died.
- Never use existing videos or recordings of anyone to make a clone, and never try to get around our consent check (for example by playing a recording, pitch-shifting a voice or using another person's phrase).
- Don't show other people's faces in your topics or style requests, and don't ask for videos "in the style of" a real person.
- Clips and screen recordings you add must be your or your business's own recordings. Everyone recognisable in them must be 18 or over and have agreed to appear. You confirm this each time you add them.
- A take for your own video must be your own camera recording of you (or of your presenter, who agreed). Nobody else may be recognisable in it, nobody in it may be under 18, and it must not be made or changed with AI. You confirm this each time you upload one.
2. Content we don't make
You may not use ClonifyLab to make or post content that is:
- sexual or sexually suggestive, or anything involving minors in any sexual or harmful way;
- political: about elections, referendums, political parties, candidates, governments' policies as a campaign, or political or social-issue advertising (Regulation (EU) 2024/900);
- a fake testimonial or review, or a persona that pretends to be a real customer ("I use this and it changed my life") when it isn't (Directive 2005/29/EC, Annex I);
- a claim of income, easy money or "autopilot" earnings;
- an unsupported medical, health or financial claim: no promised cures, results or returns, no advice that only a licensed professional may give;
- a promise of views, followers, virality or results;
- hateful, harassing, threatening or violent, or that encourages self-harm;
- deceptive: impersonation, scams, phishing, fake news, false statements about real people or companies, or anything made to mislead people about what is real;
- illegal: illegal products or services, weapons, drugs, gambling without a licence, infringing other people's copyright, trademarks or privacy;
- spam: the same video posted across many accounts, or videos made to manipulate platforms.
Our safety check blocks much of this automatically, and we may refuse any request that breaks these rules even if the check let it through.
3. AI labels and invisible marks
- Never knowingly remove or alter the C2PA Content Credentials or the invisible watermark in a file we deliver (for example to avoid a platform's AI label), or help anyone do so. If an edit drops them, the platform's AI label stays on.
- When you post a file we delivered yourself, switch on the platform's AI label wherever the law or the platform requires it, and keep it even if you edit the file (you are the "deployer" under Article 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the AI Act; see section 13 of our Terms).
- Add any label your own posts need under local rules, for example France's "Images virtuelles" on paid influencer posts that show AI faces, or a paid-partnership tag on sponsored posts.
- Never present a video as unedited real footage of an event, and never claim "no one will know it's AI".
4. Using the service fairly
- Don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or test the security of ClonifyLab or our providers, or get around our limits, credits, checks or free-sample rules (for example with several accounts or throwaway email addresses).
- Don't use our videos, scripts or outputs to train or improve other AI models.
- Don't resell access to ClonifyLab unless you have our agency agreement.
- Don't share your account, and don't let anyone approve videos for you unless they are a listed approver of a business client.
5. What happens if you break this policy
We may refuse to make or post a video, cancel pending posts, remove videos from our service, pause new requests, suspend clone mode, or suspend or close your account, depending on how serious and how repeated the breach is. We tell you what we did and why, and how to ask us to look again (Terms, section 15). We report content to the authorities where the law requires it.
6. Report a misuse
If you see a video made with ClonifyLab that breaks this policy, or that uses your face or voice without your consent, tell us with the "Report content" button or at info@clonifylab.com (how to report: our contact page). We act within 48 hours.
